Sr T&E Specialist

About the role:

The Sr T&E Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration of Gartner's global card & expense program.

What you will do:

  • Advanced understanding of Gartner's corporate card and expense program, processes, interdependencies, and policies
  • Provide daily support to associates for card/expense program inquiries, providing policy and process education
  • Navigate complex inquiries and situations by leveraging T&E knowledge and resources with minimal support
  • Thorough understanding of available reporting and ability to run and analyze the data with minimal support to address associate inquiries and T&E program as required
  • Ensure reference documentation and internal documents are current and updated
  • Confidently lead conversations and project updates with senior leadership
  • Work with third party providers and internal partners to lead issue resolution efforts with minimal support
  • Proactively identify, drive, support, and solve real-time issues and trends as well as continuous improvement initiatives for Gartner's T&E program and corporate strategies
  • Assist in any global consistency and program expansion projects
  • Provide guidance, training and mentorship to other team members as required
  • Complete Special projects and other responsibilities as required.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working in travel & expense, finance or similar business function.
  • Must have a strong can-do, no limits, winner mindset
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with an ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels while considering cultural differences
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
