As a Senior PeopleSoft Programmer, you will be a member of our GL, Financial and ERP Systems Team. This role will perform development and application support for the bank’s PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Asset Management systems. This person will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting PeopleSoft Financials using Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, nVision and the entire suite of PeopleTools technology.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions based on complex business requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks and perform required analysis.
- Work with technical staff to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues.
- Assist with optimizing application performance
- Provide architectural review of application infrastructure and impact to delivered and customized processes and code
- Perform code reviews of changes from consultants and junior developers, making sure code adheres to development standards and best practices
- Review, analyze, and evaluate systems and user needs in order to formulate PeopleSoft Financials solutions that address business strategies.
- Create detailed documentation of technical requirements, functions, and steps required to modify programs.
- Assist in implementation of operational process improvements by insuring process documentation is current.
- Participate in General Ledger, Asset Management, and Accounts Payable configuration.
- Perform analysis, development, test, and implementation of new configuration specifications.
- Assist with implementation activities related to customization, patching and upgrades.


Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a background in developing solutions for the PeopleSoft Financials applications with a minimum of 4 years emphasis on General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Asset Management integrations and customizations.
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft Peopletools with an emphasis on Financial applications.

Additional Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials from version 9.1 or beyond
- 4+ years of experience with PeopleSoft modules including General Ledger, Asset Management, and Accounts Payables
- 4+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft developer implementing, configuring, and support PeopleSoft Financials
- Experience with at PeopleTools version 8.5
- Experience with App Designer, App Engine, Integration Broker, Workflow, Process Scheduler
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL development tools
- Strong understanding of table structures within PeopleSoft financials and where data is stored
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to develop/create basic reports using PS Query, SQR, BI Publisher (or nVision reports)
- Track, diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues
- Design and develop interface programs
- Assist with Application and Tool patches and upgrades
- Experience analyzing, coding, testing, documenting, and installing projects of medium complexity
- Working knowledge of System Life Cycle Development Methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to perform tasks from multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with industry standard PC products. (Microsoft Office applications)
- Ability to provide 24-hour/7-days-per-week on-call support on a rotating basis

Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
- - Understanding of PeopleSoft Security and setup (Role-level, Permission Lists, User Profiles, Field-level, etc.) across relevant modules
- ITIL Service Management
- Accounting or Financial education
- Experience working in the banking or financial sectors
