Primary Responsibilities:



  • Guide a roadmap through the product life cycle of strategy, OKR alignment, definition/requirements, delivery/development, go-to-market
  • Work across teams (e.g. engineering, product, sales, marketing, security, and legal) to solve myriad complex problems in a creative and thoughtful way
  • Oversee the development of your set of product and platform features and determine which order is most impactful to the business and to the platform
  • Embrace new personalization technologies (ML, AI, AB Testing etc.) and establish their value to our users
  • Always use data to support hypotheses and conclusions for business cases and roadmap priorities that inform the success of your products
  • Contribute to a product culture of consumer and industry research, data-driven decision making, novel ideas, and rapid test and learn
  • Manages a specific good or service available externally on the market that can be sold stand-alone, and that directly generates revenue. Responsible for the full product lifecycle management, including: strategy, design, development, management and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products. Leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings. Accountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs. Accountable to and/or own the P&L. Partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers, product partnerships, etc.) to define and drive future product direction.

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience building software products in a product management role
  • Experience working with engineers and designers to create best-in-class deep user experiences
  • Ability to discuss technical concepts, articulate tradeoffs and propose new concepts to your engineering, data science and business partners
  • An impetus to start with consumers needs and work backwards to solutions, all driven and managed through a data-driven approach
  • Familiarity leveraging large sets of data to craft strategy and guide product roadmap creation


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in healthcare
  • Experience with commercializing machine-learning based products
  • Experience with analytics tools like (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Databricks, sql etc.)
  • Computer Science or technical background

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
