Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Utilizing strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, the Government Property Management Specialist will provide logistical support and coordination of parts and supplies to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

What you'll experience:

  • Management of a centralized depot and various field locations
  • Daily inventory management tasks including receiving, packing, shipping, staging, tracking, and storing materials

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with physical property management
  • Investigates and resolves problems relating to inventory discrepancies, delivery, and warranty repairs
  • Monitor inventory levels using inventory management software to ensure record accuracy and minimum stock
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures, contractual and FAR/DFARS requirements
  • Works directly with program staff to monitor in-house and remote inventory levels
  • Create, update, and maintain records reflecting the various life cycle events in program property including maintaining supportable documentation

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Excel
  • Knowledge of military/commercial requirements and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and in person
  • Experience shipping materials internationally and resolving complex logistical challenges
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping and reaching

Target salary range: USD $75,851.40/Yr. - USD $82,073.55/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
