Basic Qualifications

Your Responsibilities:
As an exceptional problem solver, you'll respond to and diagnose problems and answer queries regarding computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. You'll install hardware and peripheral components, such as computers, network/telecom, monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives, as well as load and verify correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, work processing and spreadsheet programs. We'll rely on you to handle 2nd tier problems that the 1st tier or service desk support is unable to resolve by simulating or re-creating end user problems and using all available resources to resolve the issues.

What you bring to the table:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant field.
  • A committed adherence to strict security protocols and regulations.
  • Proficient in maintaining basic infrastructure services, including support for laptops, desktops, internet issues, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
  • Skilled in operating system imaging and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrates customer service expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in a computer technician support role.
  • Effective at managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks and service requests from both online platforms and in-person interactions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of clear verbal and written exchanges to facilitate team coordination and problem-solving efforts.
  • A keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Competent in maintaining accurate asset management records.
  • Adept at addressing challenging situations with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Experienced with the Microsoft O365 suite, including proficiency with Microsoft Teams & OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with Service Now, though not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, though not mandatory.

Target salary range: USD $32.05/Hr. - USD $34.38/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
