Business Development Representative

Duro-last Roofing, a manufacturer of custom fabricating roofing systems, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a strong background in construction and sales to join a progressive and growing manufacturing firm. As Business Development Representative of Duro-Last Roofing you will be responsible for supporting developing new relationships in the Atlantic region. This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position with excellent benefits and bonus structure.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plan for continual growth and market share of the specification market
  • Increase volume of business through architects, roofing consultants, specifiers, corporate accounts, contractors, trade shows, and building owners
  • Responsible for working with the Duro-Last Representatives and contractors in your assigned region.
  • Participate in planning and formation of marketing and sales strategies for the Atlantic Region
  • Work in conjunction with Regional Manager on projects and maintaining contractor relationships
  • Join local affiliations such as BOMA

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required or equivalent work experience
  • Prior sales experience in the construction industry is highly desired
  • Calling on the specifier community is preferred
  • Must be organized and self-motivated and have outstanding communication skills
  • Some travel is required
