This role will report to DaVita's Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) Program Management team, which oversees programmatic success across all Value-Based Care (VBC) product lines. The IKC Program Management team is responsible for managing program outcomes for our high-growth national VBC business with over $5B of medical spending under management. We are a highly motivated, fast-paced team with extensive experience in operations, managed care, and consulting, and are at the center of DaVita's strategy to evolve from fee-for-service to value-based care. We work in a collaborative environment with a differential focus on both professional and personal growth.

The Analyst, Government Programs, is a key member of this team responsible for supporting analysis of the key drivers for program growth and equipping operations leaders with the information necessary to achieve differential growth, with a special focus on DaVita's Chronic Condition Special Needs Plan (C-SNP) portfolio. This individual will need to bring analytic capabilities to support the creation, extraction, and management of large datasets, and demonstrate a proven ability to analyze and translate the data into meaningful business insights to support various stakeholders. Critical to success in this role is an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate outcomes of analyses to executive audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Develop expertise in each VBC program's key performance requirements, with a special focus on C-SNPs.

  • Create and deliver operational reporting.

  • Provide analytical support, and independently lead analysis of key performance indicators (KPI) to inform management team decisions and actions.

  • Synthesize and convey analytical findings through compelling, management-ready presentations.

  • Operate in project coordinator capacity between different business lanes to facilitate the implementation, analysis, and improvement efforts of new or continuing operations initiatives.

  • Work closely with department teammates (clinical and non-clinical) to assist in evaluating, implementing, and monitoring progress on KPIs and patient experience.

  • Support critical enterprise initiatives with exposure to senior leadership and influential external stakeholders.

  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with myriad stakeholders, payors, and business/functional lanes

  • Apply relentless attention to detail in all deliverables.

  • Deal with confidential information using discretion and judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience preferred; healthcare, project management, consulting, corporate finance, or corporate strategy a plus.

  • Strong, creative problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

  • Proficiency in Minitab, SQL, and VBA a plus.

  • Ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and form a hypothesis against which to run analyses.

  • Strong sense of accountability; passion for owning projects and driving them to completion.

  • Aptitude for connecting back to business needs in addition to crunching the numbers.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, easily digestible manner to a range of audiences.

  • Excellent time management, decision-making, problem-solving, presentation, and documentation skills.

  • Potential up to 25% travel

Salary/ Wage Range

$55,000.00-$75,500.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
