Overview A full-time position is available for a highly motivated research technician to contribute to investigating mechanisms of immune surveillance in ovarian cancer and resistance to immune and cytotoxic therapies. In particular we are using multi-omic approaches to study identify novel antigen targets in ovarian cancer, as well as advanced barcode techniques to understand therapeutic resistance in in vitro models. The laboratory uses a variety of techniques in cell culture, molecular biology, high-throughput sequencing, immunology, peptidomics, and single cell technologies to better understand how the immune system recognizes ovarian cancer. The technician will be responsible for cell and organoid culture, processing of primary human samples, basic cloning and molecular biology approaches, molecular and cellular immunology workflows including flow cytometry and immune/primary cell co-cultures. The technician should have excellent record keeping skills, and a drive to learn new technologies. Training is available in all protocols and procedures; experience with basic technique in molecular biology is strongly preferred. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a team environment.
