Primary Responsibilities |
Plan and coordinate events, activities, educational initiatives, and service opportunities related to sustainability. Partner with other campus groups and organizations to foster a culture of sustainability within the campus community.
Manage utility bill processes including tracking cost and consumption, recording internal meter readings, developing internal cross charge bills, and reporting water deduct meter readings. Manage all fuel needs for Operations & Maintenance.
Communicate NKU's sustainability efforts using multiple channels including the website, social media, written communications, and in-person presentations. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to sustainability and a resource for students interested in sustainability.
Manage the collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data related to sustainability metrics. Complete reports including as greenhouse gas inventories and progress reports on NKU's Sustainability Strategy. When appropriate, submit information for external ratings/recognitions such as the Tree Campus
USA designation.
Identify, apply for, and administer grants related to sustainability, as appropriate. Develop budget requests for events, activities, etc. and make recommendations on allocation of funds. |
