Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Intern, Marketing Communications. This role will support the Marketing communications team in both operations, digital and tactical functions. Responsible for communications assistance, including event coordination, social media management, business writing, digital channel management and collateral project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist in analyzing and reporting website/digital marketing metrics.
  1. Evaluate and recommend solutions for updating/segmenting our marketing database.
  2. Investigate and report on emerging digital and social media trends.
  3. Assist in the planning and coordination of tradeshows and our customer and internal events.
  4. Assist in internal communications and marketing writing.
  5. Support the coordination and logistics for corporate off-site meetings.
  6. Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  7. Develop/update job aids to assist users in utilizing the Product Labeling and Communications policy.
  8. Support the operational elements of our branding efforts.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Travel: 0-10%

Physical Risk: No unusual exposure to risk.

Physical Demands: Light physical effort. Routine handling of objects up to 20 pounds; prolonged (at least 50% of time) sitting, standing, keyboard or CRT work. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and/or other conditions.



Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED and currently attending a college/university with a major in marketing, communications, business or similar field required, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Understanding of general marketing/communications principles.
