We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented marketer to join our team as a Corporate Events Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in activating our brand, through the execution of best in class first and third party event programs and activations.

You will report to our Sr. Director of Corporate Events & Sponsorships, and can be located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You will:



  • Plan and deliver engaging event experiences for Smartsheet customers, partners, prospects, staff, and industry influencers.
  • Manage and/or support multiple event programs concurrently, including third-party, industry analyst, and tradeshow engagements.
  • Maintain and manage key project deliverables and communications to ensure consistent, timely, and effective project delivery, including effective collaboration and alignment with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage event logistics including attendee registration and housing, staffing coordination, on-site event execution, vendor management as needed, as well as driving the RoB of the planning process for each program end-to-end.
  • Lead the development of event program goals, while determining and implementing the means for measuring success based on agreed goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that event programs which you manage are effective- meeting or exceeding agreed business goals and objectives and proving ROI for the business.
  • Create, track, and manage event budgets within a defined and agreed +/- range, managing Procurement, Finance and Legal teams to deliver timely execution of all related needs.
  • Work with budget manager to track spend and produce recurring budget updates throughout the planning cycle for each program you lead.
  • Lead workstream/s in support of our scaled first-party flagship ENGAGE events.
  • Identify opportunities for process and event management improvements, and implement as/when necessary.
  • Support the broader Sponsorships & Events team on special projects and initiatives as needed.


You have:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning in a corporate environment, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet or similar tools for planning, tracking, and automating work.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $94,500 to $143,100 | All other US States: $87,500 to $132,500
