JOIN THE TEAM COMMITTED TO DRIVING YOUR CAREER FORWARD Job Type: Full time Exempt/Non Exempt: Hourly Job Description: Travel Finance Quality Assistant - The Auto Club Group What you will do: Provide processing and/or accounting support for Travel Administration, branch Travel Services and centralized Travel Service teams. Design, generate and distribute specialized reports for Travel Services and other ACG departments. Balance and enter documents into travel accounting system. Provide administrative assistance as requested including filing, routing telephone calls and miscellaneous typing. Maintain tables on AXIS accounting system for travel reports and ACG group programs. Assist with the processing of travel agent incentive compensation. Balances and reconcile weekly ARC reports for ACG Branches. Generate customized management reports as required. Assist in the processing of weekly and monthly sales reports for distribution to Travel Services Delivery Teams. Communicate with software vendor regarding system enhancements and programming problem resolutions. Provide SME support to AXIS travel working groups. Modify computerized reservation system data that does not meet accounting requirements. Prepare batches for cash receipts, commissions, and disbursements and data enters them into the accounting system. Balance incoming commission payments to the bank account. Provide support for AXIS frontline travel agent booking questions and back office accounting questions. Test AXIS system releases and bundle, develop test plans and document results. Benefits include: 401k Match Medical Dental Vision PTO Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement We're looking for candidates who: Required Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: Working with automated accounting systems or computerized reservation systems Identifying, researching and resolving business and service related problems Utilizing a variety of software programs Participating on project teams Researching and resolving account discrepancies Knowledge and Skills: Analysis and decision making Accurately perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages Accessing and interpreting automated reports Communicating effectively with others in a work environment and with the public Maintaining accurate records and documentation Testing and documenting software enhancements Developing system enhancement recommendations, update and develop procedures Preferred Qualifications: College level coursework in Computer Programming and/or Accounting Knowledge of: Travel industry and airline rules and regulations Travel Agency Accounting Systems Apollo Travel Reservation Systems ARC Certification Work Environment This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities.
