To strengthen our team in Ann Arbor, we are looking for you as a(n) Lab Technician. We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our successful Consumer Care team in Ann Arbor. The responsibility of the Laboratory Technician is to provide laboratory support to the Home Care and Personal Care market segments in our Consumer Silicones business team. You will support product development, application testing, and scale-up all focused on providing solutions for our customers. Working within a team, you will complete complex assignments, which aim to provide product and application understanding. As the Laboratory Technician gains experience, there is the opportunity for career growth through professional development and increased responsibilities. The position will be located at our Innovation Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Essential functions include: 1. Assist in the development of new products and formulations through lab testing and experimentation. Use a variety of application processes to generate samples for testing. Develop proficiency in the use and maintenance of laboratory, applications, and testing equipment 2.Maintain a safe, organized, and clean laboratory environment. Order and stock laboratory consumables and samples to support the efficient operation of the lab. 3.Record and organize data and supporting technical information using lab best practices which include but aren't limited to Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), SAP, Microsoft programs (Excel, PPT, and Word).
