Sensor Services Manager

Description

Leidos is seeking an experienced Sensor Services Manager in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program in Pensacola, FL.

Primary Responsibilities

• Directly manage and provide day-to-day oversight of a team of 8 Systems Engineers who support operations, maintenance, and automation of the Sensor Grid Infrastructure systems and applications.

• Define, implement, and oversee processes for 24*7 production support for the Sensor Grid Infrastructure systems and applications. Includes managing maintenance schedule and production operations to service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely planned and unplanned outage notifications for production changes are provided.

• Work with customers and managers within the directorate to set priorities and schedule deliverables of customer requirements.

• Provide support and subject matter expertise to aide in strategic decisions and resolution of critical issues as they arise.

• Oversee the development and deployment of Sensor infrastructure and applications as required by the customer.

• Brief Program Increment Objectives to contract and customer leadership on status, future plans, or current concerns as required.

• Assist in troubleshooting to resolve production issues, guide team and other directorate personnel in root cause analysis, and communicate results with Government, service customers, and contract leadership.

• Work with Service Response team to disposition trouble tickets and provide input to weekly report deliverables.

• Mentor junior engineers in processes and technologies.

• Supervise up to 10 people.

Basic Qualifications

• Active Secret level security clearance and a current DoD 8570 approved certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience and five (5) years of direct experience. Generally, has 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

• Significant experience with Systems/Network Integration, Administration and Deployment of new Hardware, Software, and Services, Change & Configuration Management support, and Maintenance in support of all Sensor Services.

• Ability to Lead, Collaborate, and Support the Sensors Team and UCSA Enterprise as a Sensors Engineering Subject Matter Expert

• Experience with DISA Operations

• Experience with DISA Defensive Cyber Platforms

• Experience with DISA Enterprise Sensing Capabilities

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile/ITIL
