Subject Matter Expert in Integrated Network Systems of Systems (INSS) - Hybrid Opportunity Available TS/SCI Aerospace City Arlington State Virginia Country United States Job Description **Hybrid Opportunity Available** o Nuclear Command and Control (NC3)
* Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership, outside agencies, Congress, Industry, Academia, Professional Societies, and others as directed by your PD
o Modernization roadmaps shall be current and updated at the direction of the respective Principal Director (PD) o Coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders, including DoD leaders, the Services/Agencies and other key partners o Refine and update S&T roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments. o Assist in the development, maintenance and integration of modernization tech roadmaps to their PD. o Roadmaps shall include all DoD activities and applicable program elements. o Modernization roadmaps shall be current and updated at the direction of the PD or DDRE(M) Front Office. o Coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, OUSD(R&E) Enterprise, the Services/Agencies and other key partners as identified by DDRE(M). o The SME will refine, and update S&T roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments. In addition o The SME will assist, as required, with the development of strategy documents, DoD Instructions, or other Department documents. * Track department-wide budgets for efforts aligning with their respective PD * Prepare and conduct meetings related to your Principal Director's focus area Integrated Network Systems of Systems (INSS) * Travel within the DC Metro Area to the Pentagon, Mark Center or Suffolk Building * Location in DC Metro Area * BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AN ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI CLEARANCE FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Qualifications Required (Skills) Master of Arts or Master of Science Degree with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience. Degree must be in a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline. 14 years' relevant experience and at least 7 years' of recent experience in military communications systems engineering, protected RF BLOS communications, high data rate laser communications, and other relevant technologies.
