Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.



Responsibilities

    Quotation issuance, order processing, purchase order and contract review.
  • Provide high level of customer and sales support via phone and electronic correspondence.
  • Back up Order Processing administrators within Order Operations team, including billings, as needed.
  • An extensive understanding of the quote-to-cash process is critical to the success in the position.
  • Applicant must possess high degree of organization, communication and customer service / support skills.
  • Maintain appropriate order files and records including the above referenced documents, information and customer correspondence.
  • Answer sales and marketing phones, responding to customer/potential customer/sales engineer/ distributor / Bruker subsidiary inquiries.
  • Responsible for responding to sales and marketing correspondence related to sales orders.
  • Assist with preparation of audit packages and respond to internal and external audit requirements and requests.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for accurate processing of customer orders and change orders within internal guideline procedures. Including the acceptance and auditing of written customer purchase orders, terms and conditions, export compliance forms, letters of credit, freight forwarder information, correct ship to / bill to addresses, pricing, taxes, shipping terms, and payment terms. (40%)
  • Support order administration colleagues by issuing quotations and complete customer bids as needed for systems, upgrades, parts, etc. Provide second level support for contract review and/or for vendor setup as needed. (25%)
  • Proactively access and monitor order delivery systems including web, phone, email, and fax for the timely processing of incoming orders. (5%)
  • Monitor scheduled ship dates and provide customer order acknowledgements within internal guidelines and procedures. Notify customers, sales representatives, and distributors of any delays. (10%)
  • Assure proper coordination between factory and customers at end of fiscal quarters to meet revenue goals. (10%)
  • Maintain training and process documentation materials to correspond with current processes, make changes as needed. (10%)


Qualifications

  • Requires detailed knowledge of the quote to cash business processes with 3-5 years administration experience from sales, order entry and finance perspective with integrated ERP system.
  • Requires knowledge of word processing and data base programs. Must have experience with SAP sales and finance modules, MS Office Suite, Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an understanding of audience-appropriate tone and demeanor.
  • Requires the ability to handle high volumes of e-mail and phone correspondence in an organized and timely manner.
  • Requires excellent planning and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Show proven ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Must possess the ability to quickly assess situations and provide clear guidance on path forward.
  • Must work well with others in a team environment.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School education required. AA or AS business degree, a plus.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $42,618.00 and $57,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
