Associate Director, Regional Sales IND

Responsibilities:

  • Manages recruitment, Development and Retention of top sales talent.
    Meets or exceeds the sales revenue targets and growth objectives established for the region.
  • Directs field activities of team members to grow our business.
  • Ensures sales activity targets are understood and met by Account Managers
  • Performs Coaching Mentoring & Feedback for direct reports career and personal development.
  • Establishes and maintains business relationships with key accounts within territory.
  • Participates with the rest of the sales management unit in developing new or improved sales tools.
  • In alignment with the marketing team, directs activities that support marketing objectives within CRM.
  • Generates key monthly regional reporting for use by management in decision-making.
    Serve as a conduit of competitive activities and threats and propose strategic actions to counter.
  • Operates within relevant budgets, and ensures expenses are accounted for in line with company policy.
  • Establishes and manages commission plans throughout the calendar year working with finance partners.

Qualification and Experience:

  • 5+ years people management with FSQ organization or equivalent with bioMerieux.
  • Marketing experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience of P&L management with clear understanding of profitability drivers
  • Relevant commercial and B2B experience, ideally in life sciences or healthcare industry
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience with web-based platforms for relationship management (Salesforce/Pardot, LinkedIn).
  • Database experience with relevant BI tools (IBM, ORACLE, TABLEAU, etc.)
  • Experience working in a matrix organization in multinational companies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or postgraduate of Food Science, Microbiology preferred.
