Job Summary Manage west campus facilities belonging to Land, Air and Water Resources (LAWR) specically Campbell Tract, Luthin Lab and storage space at the airport storage sheds. Provide research, teaching and outreach support for LAWR and other outside entities (Dept. of Water Resources, University of Illinois, University of Colorado and others) including operation and maintenance of weather stations, research equipment, and heavy equipment. Assist in experimental design and developing procedure for specialized tools and instrumentation. Primarily the Geoprobe drill rig and the Hydroprobe soil moisture monitoring instrument. Coordinate with departmental safety ocers to offer safety training for on and off campus eld safety required by the Worker Protection Standards. Position Information
