GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for delivering coaching and development services to selected senior leaders, high-potentials, and senior leadership teams. Develop and deliver leadership and team development and individual assimilation initiatives. Foster integration, collaboration, and drive results with other Human Capital (HC) Centers of Excellence and key stakeholders. Support the coaching skill development of people leaders and HC professionals. Assist in the development and delivery of customized executive development programs focused on enhancing individual and team performance and collaboration.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior Leadership Coaching and Development:

  • Provide executive coaching for selected senior leaders. Build relationships with and coach senior leaders to drive ownership of their own development and development of their employees. Accelerate development plan progress of senior leaders and high-potential employees through individual coaching efforts. Utilize standard processes to measure effectiveness of internal and external coaching engagements and initiatives.
  • Facilitate, as needed, executive assimilation/transition processes for select leaders and teams. Focus on assimilation plans for assigned key senior leaders.

Senior Leadership Team Development:

  • Work with Senior Leadership teams through facilitation of a high performing team development process and coaching. Identify development opportunities and devises programs/processes to address gaps and leverage strengths. Develop partnerships with Senior HR Business Partners to work collaboratively on executive team development efforts. Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to HRBPs, executives and leadership teams by leveraging knowledge, experience, and holistic view of the organization.

Leadership Programs Consulting and Coaching:

  • Support executive development programs and provide follow-up coaching.
  • Assist with leadership program development and delivery.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Human Capital to drive various practices and processes. Serve as a value-added strategic coaching and development partner to build and accelerate growth of top talent. Build strong relationships with members of Enterprise and Management Committee.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in related field highly desired.
  • Coaching certification required or attained within first year.
  • Minimum10 years of leadership/management consulting, executive team development or related career experience required.
  • Minimum of five years management experience preferred. Experience in financial industry desired.
  • Strong grasp of Organizational Development principles, leadership practices and strategy.
  • Significant knowledge and experience in coaching, leadership development, individual and group assessment tools.
  • Emotional Intelligence competence is critical.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent leadership, management, organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion; keep confidences and earn trust.
  • Credibility, executive presence, and excellent speaking and facilitating abilities with high-level executives needed.
  • Ability to interact well with all organizational levels, especially senior levels, is critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build collaborative relationships throughout organization, including senior leadership.
  • Experience operating in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance is critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute HC initiatives with high-level professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Ability to leverage teams and be flexible to Bancorp change initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of the Banking Industry, its financial components, and any relevant issues and trends is preferred.
