Military Information Support Operations Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you're passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you'll will integrate Mission Information Support Operations and Psychological Operations (MISO/PSYOP) into all contingency plans and operations plans and ensure that MISO/PSYOP capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes.Additionally, your creativity will be significant for using information systems and information related capabilities (IRC), integrating with interagency and intelligence community (IC), and developing innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, traditional media and social media. You must also consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, risk assessments, and product production.

You won't go at it alone, you'll work alongside a team of information operations analysts to conduct research, draft reports, and produce media and development packets. Once documented, you'll develop program briefs and documentation for senior military leadership and stakeholders in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you'll use your passion for information operations (IO), military deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall warfighting functions will bolster Air Force operations and help the team better understand how to integrate Army capabilities and synchronizing activities of mutual concern.

You Have:

  • 5 years of experience with MISO planning at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces
  • 5 years of experience advising, negotiating, and mentoring managers, military officials, and senior leaders
  • Knowledge of service departments, including Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, functions, and their relationships to the CCMD to coordinate MISO and PSYOP actions in appropriate channels, such as Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with joint or combined military operations and interagency coordination
  • Experience in integrating MISO and PSYOP capabilities into cyber plans and operations
  • Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities
  • Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to coordinate MISO and PSYOP actions within the proper channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
