The purpose of the examiner position is to carry out the tasks needed for ongoing clinical research studies in the UC Davis Department of Neurology, Alzheimer's Disease Research Center for observational research and clinical trials. The primary role of this position is to accurately administer, and score standardized neuropsychological test batteries to older adult research participants with and without cognitive impairment under the supervision of a neuropsychologist and Clinical Research Manager. This position will also assist with the coordination of research studies, communicate with participants about scheduled visits, and maintain associated data tracking, data entry, and data management. This role also provides other general support to various research projects. Department Description The UC Davis Department of Neurology conducts clinical research and provides diagnosis and treatment for adults and children with a variety of neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders including Parkinson's and Huntington's diseases, tremor, dystonia, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular conditions, headache, and sleep disorders.
