Job Description Summary
Full-time, professor of practice faculty position in the developing Doctor of Physical Therapy Program ( DPT). Expertise in the area of neurological rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the mission in a Catholic and Lasallian higher education community.

Reporting to the Program Director, responsibilities of the Neurological Rehabilitation Foundational Science Faculty member include:
-Direction and oversight in planning, implementation, and assessment of the foundational course content in the curriculum
-Student advising
-Scholarship, and service to the Department, College, University, and community.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, the candidate will have an earned academic doctoral degree from a regionally recognized USDE accredited university (PhD, EdD, DSc, DHS, etc.) and has a contemporary expertise in the area of neurological rehabilitation, acute care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, or related field. A successful candidate should also hold a physical therapy degree with a current license in good standing eligible for licensure in Illinois. Three years of experience teaching in higher education is desired. A minimum of three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical work experience as a physical therapist is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess superior communication, organization, interpersonal, problem solving, and counselling skills. This individual will have an established or emerging scholarly agenda.
