Position Summary The Wrapper is responsible for wrapping open furniture product in a safe and organized manner. Utilizing wrapping material top protect the bottom and surrounding edges of the product to ensure product is safe during handling. Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Re-wrap open boxed merchandise and assist with customer returns, delivery end caps and Service area
  • Protect merchandise from handling, wrapping the unit with a protective layer of foam or foam cover
  • Protect the top four corners with flexible foam, foam corners. Wrap the top with shrink wrap to secure foam corners and continue to encase the unit with layers of shrink wrap
  • Set up the cardboard bottom boot to protect the base of the unit
  • Ability to maximize product quality for resale
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with product in first quality condition
  • Standardize wrapping process throughout the network
Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years general warehouse experience in a fast paced, warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of design software programs is a plus.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $16.50 - $21.45

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
