The anticipated salary range for this role is between $103,000.00and $206,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized ServiceNow solutions to meet our business requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ServiceNow and ITIL processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams & group companies.

Role Objectives
  • Design, develop and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in ServiceNow development and ITIL processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ServiceNow solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow updates and new features.
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of ServiceNow upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Proficient in JavaScript HTML and ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management, ServiceNow CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Event Management, ServiceNow ITAM, ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, ServiceNow Software Asset Management and ServiceNow Security Operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is a plus.
