Overview
Tufts University is a part of Health and Wellness within the division of Student Life. Health and Wellness also includes the Health Service, Health Promotion, the Center for Awareness, Resources, and Education (CARE), and Administration and Operations, and comprises approximately 60 individuals with diverse mental health, medical, and public health backgrounds. CMHS contributes to the educational mission of the University through a variety of activities devoted to prevention, intervention, and consultation alongside direct clinical services. Serving a diverse student body of approximately 8500 undergraduate and graduate students, CMHS is active on campus doing training, outreach, and liaison work, as well as consulting to the Tufts communities of students, families, faculty, and staff regarding students of concern. We also provide mental health crisis intervention and emergency on-call services to the campus community. What You'll Do The Director of Counseling and Mental Health Service provides vision, leadership, and coordination of mental health services for a multicultural student community of graduate and undergraduate students. Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Health and Wellness, this position oversees all activities of the Counseling and Mental Health Service (CMHS), including clinical, outreach, administrative and compliance. The Director of CMHS works collaboratively with Student Life and other campus partners to attend to and support the well-being of students, both proactively and in emergency situations. Pay Range Minimum $136,200.00, Midpoint $170,250.00, Maximum $204,300.00 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. |
