Development Database Intern

Join the Development Department as a Development Database Intern! This is a great opportunity for the intern to enhance their skills in organization, multitasking, and communications while learning more about non-profit structure, including mission and staff collaboration. The intern will gain technical training by assisting with membership processing, data entry, reporting, and brainstorming creative methods for data visualization using our donor database, Tessitura. In addition to the duties above, the Development Department works with interns to create specific projects that align with their academic pursuits and personal interests.

Learning opportunities and skills:

-Operational support to a high functioning fundraising team at an exceptional museum

-Data integrity including migration support for a major database upgrade CRM database skills

-Data visualization using Tessitura and Excel

-Experience in a non-profit organization. Interns are encouraged to join all department activities and meetings

Internship Qualifications: The Development Operations team seeks a highly detail-oriented and motivated college student with excellent written and oral communication, planning and organizational skills. This opportunity requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of and ease with Microsoft Office. Experience working with a database or POS software preferred.
