Human Resources Project Intern

Human Resources provides consultation partnerships for employment, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, human resources information systems (HRIS), performance management, equal opportunity and labor relations. HR leads the Museum by demonstrating the behaviors in a human-centered environment that requires us to listen, understand, respond to and create dialogue opportunities to address needs, support opportunities for growth, and streamline processes for efficiency.

HR's mission is to be forward-thinking and compassionate in our efforts to serve the Peabody Essex Museum campus community. We will strive to build awareness and inclusivity by acting with respect, integrity and fairness.

We seek a graduate level student who has previous experience working in an office environment. You will work with a team of professionals to assist with implementing strategic goals, learn about HR Operations, assist with building a network of professionals who will provide their expertise for staff, assist with organizing special events, and collaborate with the team in designing an Intranet web site.

You will be an organized, detail-oriented, poised, creative and technology proficient person with strong communication, project management skills, and an interest in learning about our office operations and how we facilitate change.
