Property Maintenance Worker

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. In order to support the mission, the Property Maintenance Worker will work on a Full-Time basis providing property and facilities maintenance for Helio Health's Rochester programs.

Pay Rate: $19.00- $24.00 per hour.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500!

Responsible for upkeep of Helio buildings and grounds.
• Performs maintenance and general repairs necessary to provide a safe and functional environment.
• Responds to emergency situations when requested by Supervisor of Facilities and/or Director of Facilities.
• Communicates with Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance regarding any life/safety issues along with any situations which could pose a danger to clients/staff, or agency liability.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Takes direction from Supervisor of Facilities and/or Director of Facilities and keeps him/her informed regarding progress of work.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance or Director of Facilities.

• Proven building maintenance experience preferably in a commercial or healthcare setting.
• Ability to perform physical labor and to use a computer.
• Skilled in using common power and hand tools.
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions and environment containing strong odors, dust and hazards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate well verbally, in writing.
• High School or G.E.D. required.
• Knowledge of OSHA & SDS requirements.
• Must have valid NYS Driver's License and be able to drive agency vehicle.
