Nursing Assistant - 5N Medical Oncology

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly) Day Shift

Patient Care Technician II assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by licensed nurse (RN or LPN). These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care. Collaborates with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between members of the healthcare interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training and Completion of a Medical Terminology course within 90 days of hire.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


Preferred qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training and Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Coursework/Training and Pharmacology course.
  • Coursework/Training and Completion of Health Unit Coordinator Course.
  • 6 months of completion of CNA program or six months of health care.
  • 1 year in a healthcare setting.
