EBAD seeks an experienced detailer drafter for the position of Detailer - Drafter, reporting to the Drafting Supervisor in our Moorpark, CA location. In this role you will be responsible for the daily processing and design of drawings, components, parts, and assemblies associated with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and updating EBAD's ERP system (IFS) with drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate drawings and models for component parts, and assemblies.
• Revise and update current drawings regarding material notes and sectionizing of product.
• Update ERP system with current drawings.
• Interface with Designers & Product Engineers to create/modify drawings & models.
• Perform tolerance studies when requested.
• Perform Engineering Change Orders (ECO).

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of standard drafting practices per ASME Y14.100 and dimensioning & tolerancing practices (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5. SolidWorks experience and solid understanding of "Bill of Materials" as related to drawings & ERP system.

Requirements also include:

• 7+ years' experience with modeling parts in an Aerospace company.
• Attention to detail is critical for this position.
• Expert SolidWorks knowledge, preferably version 2020.
• Proficient in CAD drafting software.
• Understanding "Bill of Materials" as related to drawings.
• Solid computer skills including MS Word & Excel.
• Provide drafting advice to functional team ensuring drawings are clear and concise.
• Follow EBAD's ISO procedures as related to the Drafting group.
• Good teamwork/interpersonal skills since Drafting supports multiple functional groups.
• Ability to work in a changing priority environment, juggling multiple priorities.

• Associate degree preferred but will accept experience with specific emphasis on work in drafting.
• Knowledge in Aerospace and Defense preferred.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data
