JOB TITLE: Patient Care Technician

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Patient Care Technician needed to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the operating room and sterile supply with various routine tasks. Duties may include preparation of surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining established inventory levels by checking supplies and equipment, transporting patients, personal care, cleaning equipment, and clerical duties in a fast pace surgical center environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.
