Cyber Range Engineer

Key Role:

Conduct design, implementation, testing, and maintenance on complex networks for customers focused on testing and training. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge to develop solutions and troubleshoot a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in deploying network infrastructure both virtual and physical environments
  • Experience in a DevSecOps or DevOps role
  • Experience working in CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code and VMware
  • Experience with networking and virtualization
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational tools, including Domain Controllers, Exchange Servers, and DNS Servers
  • Experience with network traffic analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Packer images
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible as Infrastructure as Code
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
  • Security+ or IAT Level III Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
