What to Expect...



  • Interactwith adiverse populationof high-achieving scholars and fellow staff from around the US and abroad
  • Travelby air or motor coach to sites across the United States
  • Asresidential positions, housing and most meals are provided in the hotel
  • Anticipate being "on call"/available 24/7, though working hours will typically be 7am-11pm (including breaks)



Education Support

The Education Support is responsible for coaching and assisting a team of Advisors with improving their classroom management, facilitation of the curriculum, and ensuring a safe and high-quality experience for all program attendees. The Education Support works directly with and reports to the Education Lead.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities



  • Prepare and account for all educational materials for the conference
  • Set up simulations and accompanying materials
  • Maintain inventory of curriculum and simulation materials
  • Greet speakers prior to plenary events
  • Be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and assist in their enforcement, including appropriate student conduct and dress code
  • Accompany group on all outings
  • Assist Education Lead with program bus boarding procedures to ensure student accountability
  • Provide supervision and assistance at program site and events as assigned
  • Attend daily staff meetings
  • Be knowledgeable of all program curriculum
  • Serve as a substitute for any Advisor as the need arises - requiring supervision of students and facilitation of program curriculum
  • Support the logistical needs of the conference as directed
  • Coordinate socials, special projects, and student events
  • Assist with inventory and program wrap up
  • Work closely, cooperatively, and amicably with all staff members
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Perform other duties as determined by the program leadership



Health & Safety Job Responsibilities



  • Clean and sanitize equipment and spaces
  • Perform temperature checks
  • Be around large groups
  • Wear a face mask and any other PPE as required while performing all duties throughout your assigned workday
  • Model best practices for staying healthy throughout the program
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines among scholars and staff
  • Responsibilitiesand Requirements for this rolemay adapt and adjust with any newLocal/State/Federal/Venue guidelines as well as recommendations and requirements from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)forGeneralHealth &Safety. If there are any changes to the responsibilities or requirements of this position, you will be informed prior to your start date.



Education Support Qualifications



  • College Upperclassman (3+ years college experience and/or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience and/or interest in working with high school aged students
  • Prior teaching or facilitation experience desired
  • Interest in or knowledge of Pre-Law, Political Science, Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, Business, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, International Cultures, and/or Civics (preferred and program specific)
  • Strong logistical and organization skills
  • Must be able to bend and lift boxes up to 50 lbs and walk various distances on college campuses
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems
  • Maturity and professionalism
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to set expectations for and enforce appropriate student behavior

**Envision by WorldStrides'programs are held on college campuses and at conference centers across the United States. Positions could be based at any programlocation. The approximate start date in 2022 is June 15th. **
