Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Electronics engineering team is rapidly growing to support the development of Flight Termination Systems and Tactical electronics in support of Space & Defense applications. EBAD seeks a skilled person for an Electrical/ Electronics Engineering position, reporting to the Electrical Product Development Lead.

Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity for engineer to use and grow their experience in the Electronic hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of circuit card assemblies and subsystems with an emphasis on design of boards containing analog, digital, or mixed signal circuits. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities: Circuit analysis, Circuit simulation, Circuit board layout/routing, and Design documentation. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues found during hardware integration, test and verification. The Design Engineer will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle including requirements definition, concept creation, detailed implementation, test and integration, and product support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering strong EE background, and 3+ years' experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • One or more of analog, digital, or mixed signal circuit design experience
  • Cable assembly and wire harness design experience
  • Power electronics design experience
  • Knowledge and experience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with "hands-on" testing and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with use of basic diagnostics tools such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
