CRM Salesforce Architect

Geico's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team is looking for a highly motivated and innovative Principal Engineer to join the team to help take our Salesforce test automation and performance engineering processes to the next level. The ideal candidate would have experience implementing and optimizing a variety of test automation frameworks in the Salesforce ecosystem using BDD methodology as well as measuring and improving performance on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Mulesoft platforms. In this role, you will be asked to drive CRM BDD adoption and provide innovative solutions to technical blockers related to test automation and performance testing and work with delivery teams to improve SLAs and reduce instances of throttling on the Salesforce platform in production.

Requirement Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce Architecture and server-based system architecture. Active coding development on Force.com platform utilizing Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL & UI Tools.

  • Strong understanding of REST architecture, working knowledge of SOAP

  • Expertise with Asynchronous, Batch, Scheduled and Dynamic flavors of Apex

  • Previous Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Preferably Azure.

  • Experience with Test Automation integration with CI CD pipeline

  • Knowledge / application of structured Salesforce repeatable deployment processes and best practices

  • Strong technical, analytical, time management, training, and presentations skills

  • Ability to recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present information to managers, peers, and customers

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, strong communication skills, both written and oral

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with successful implementations of BDD and test automation solutions for the Salesforce ecosystem (ex. SpecFlow, Selenium, Provar, AccelQ, etc.)
  • Experience with the Salesforce performance testing processes and tools to drive and measure performance (ex. LoadRunner, JMeter etc.)
  • Preferred Bot, CDP skillset.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce System Architect

  • Salesforce Technical Architect

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and enable the implementation of BDD framework and its utilization across the Salesforce organization

  • Help implement innovative solutions to technical blockers related to test automation and performance testing in the Salesforce CRM ecosystem

  • Work with delivery teams to improve SLAs and reduce instances of governor limits or throttles on the Salesforce platform

  • Additional tasks may include developing automation scripts, training other technology or product personnel on new features and functionality

  • Concept, analyze and collaborate on architecture decisions to enable global scalable solutions

  • Collaborate with members of the project team and business owners to design, develop, unit test, and provide post-release support

Annual Salary

$82,000.00 - $204,500.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
