What is the Global Programs Marketing Team responsible for?

The Global Programs Marketing Team is responsible for developing Franklin Templeton global brand building marketing programs designed to help our clients solve theirmost complex business challenges.

The Team works with partners across Distribution to commercializeFranklin Templeton's Value Beyond Investing capabilities (FT Institute, FT Academy, services, tools, experts) providing regions with the ability to pivot to products and solutions.

The key areas of focus are based on expressed client need and FT capability - Investing, Disruptive Technology & Innovation, Sustainability and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

What is the Associate Global Programs Manager responsible for?

  • Responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive plan to drive brand awareness of Franklin Templeton's Capabilities in key areas of focus. The end result being that we are known and respected as a top provider.
  • Work throughout the organization across multiple channels and media to elevate Franklin Templeton's experience, knowledge, and capability to the highest level.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, content developers, product marketing and regional leaders from sales and marketing to define the goals and objectives for Creating, Launching, Maintaining and Evolving a suite of synchronized Value Beyond Investing resources around a key theme.
  • Collaborate with SMEs across enterprise functions to curate a continuously engaging program of omni-channel resources featuring FT's capabilities around our clients' most important needs, globally and regionally.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Associate Global Programs Manager?

Collaborate to devise and execute a creative marketing strategy in collaboration with stakeholders:

  • Assess client need
  • Identify audience (Home office, F/A, Institutional)
  • Develop messaging
  • Determine optimal format (Presentation, Round table, Video, Podcast, White paper, Conference, etc.)
  • Execute distribution and awareness strategies (Internal and External)
  • Marketing

Coordinate development of global content informed by SMEs:

  • Thought Leadership
  • Value Add/Practice Management
  • Corporate Messaging
  • Tie Product/Investment Marketing Narrative

Partner with Regional Distribution Teams to design a customized promotional plan:

  • Digital (Web, Paid Social, Paid Search, etc)
  • Events (in person, virtual)
  • Sponsorships/Paid Content
  • Public Relations

Participate in and lead cross functional working group meetings to ensure alignment across all areas

Establish data driven methods to continuously identify ways to grow and deepen engagement

  • Align with partner firm outlook and strategy
  • Incorporate feedback from clients
  • Create and leverage KPIs and key metrics

What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of relevant product management or marketing strategy
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills that enable work across multiple stakeholders, with an ability to both lead and influence towards outcomes
  • Executive presence: can quickly establish credibility with and influence Leadership level teams
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through the entirety of the human-centered design process
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about issues impacting the client journey in its entirety
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively while managing internal partners, complex projects and driving business requirements and customer expectations, ability to pivot when necessary
  • Willingness to take on both strategic and tactical assignments to get the job done
  • Preference for internal knowledge of FT processes and functions

Compensation Range: Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $85,000 - $115,000.
