We are seeking a Systems professional/DataOps Engineer with technical background and knowledge of big data foundational concepts such as relational database, data warehouse, and Data lake to help build and maintain a robust, scalable data and Machine Learning platforms in Microsoft Azure. Candidate must be well versed on general infrastructure technology and have an understanding of public and private cloud concepts such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). You will be primarily responsible for design, configuration, optimization, management, monitoring, documentation and support of Azure platform services and components, as well as supporting data ingestion to various Data Layer within GEICO's Enterprise Data Platform in Azure. As part of our engineering team, you must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams, and establish a high trust partnership within GEICO internal business partners, and other IT groups to support company initiatives.
