Senior Development Associate (Fundraising) HSS Foundation-Development Department New York, NY Onsite (one day remote) Full-Time The Senior Development Associate is a key member of a dynamic fundraising team for the nation's leading orthopedics and rheumatology academic medical center. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and Vice President, Development, the Sr. Associate will provide critical support for all aspects of their work including the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors and prospects, and assisting in the planning and execution of meetings and small events. The Sr. Associate supports the full range of the fundraising process by arranging appointments and meetings; assisting with mailings; collaborating on written materials including briefings, proposals, and acknowledgements; researching prospects and donors; and updating prospect/donor activity in the departmental database. The position will get exposure to executives and teams across the organization, helping to drive and support the strategic priorities of the Development Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster critical relationships established by CDO and VP, Development with key internal and external stakeholders and their assistants, including the HSS executive leadership team, physicians, and board members.
