Merchandise Location Supervisor

The Merchandise Location Supervisor will take the lead in overseeing the operation of assigned retail locations while coaching and developing retail associates. This role is a great resume builder as it provides the opportunity to gain valuable skills in merchandising, guest service, training and development, and leadership. * Coach and develop associates on job performance and have developmental discussions as necessary.

* Train new associates on the job for tasks including, register procedures, cleaning, stocking, and guest engagement.

* Ensure that associates are adhering to departmental and company policies and procedures and enforce policies when necessary.

* Train associates on providing exceptional guest service. Respond to guest concerns and provide appropriate resolutions.

* Execute an operating plan for the assigned location that emphasizes proper associate placement while preventing violations of park labor policies.

* Follow opening/closing procedures for assigned locations.

* Complete daily stocking tasks, write inventory transfers, inventory damages, and maintain organized storage areas.

* Maintain visual displays, focal tables, and design elements of assigned locations.

* Assist in product placement using visual merchandising strategies under the direction of an Area Supervisor.

* Other duties as assigned

* Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

* Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

* Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

* Available to work 35-40 hours a week during summer season.

* Supervisory experience preferred.

* Theme park experience preferred.
