Responsibilities

The Contested Environment Test Solutions group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and support software for the testing of inertial navigation sensors and their components. The ideal candidate will have significant experience using LabVIEW to develop software for test stations. They will be responsible for supporting existing LabVIEW-based test stations and developing new test stations as-needed. This role offers participation in cutting edge technologies for a variety of specialized and unique applications within contested environments, such as radiation or GPS-denied environments.

The candidate will be expected to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional, multi-site teams. This is primarily an on-site role, with some flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have either a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Required skills include:

    Experience with commercial test instrumentation such as data acquisition modules, National Instruments (NI) PCI/PXI systems, real-time embedded controllers and communication devices, LabVIEW, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with integration and test of HW and SW elements and electronics based
    components and subassemblies (breadboard HW, test equipment, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with test plans and results through technical report writing and presentations
  • Ability to participate in some travel to off-site locations will be required, less than 15%, typically less than one week in duration

Preferred:

  • NI CLA or CLD certification
  • Proficient in documentation and data analysis techniques with software such as python, MATLAB, JMP, or similar
  • Experience working with laboratory data acquisition systems such as digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
  • Systems engineering experience writing and implementing a variety of items such as Design Verification Testing, Acceptance Test Procedures, Performance Verification Testing, Formal Qualification Testing, Interface Control Documents, Design Specifications, Software or Hardware Test Reports, and Software or Hardware Test Procedures

This applicant must be able to obtain a Security Clearance which requires US citizenship.
