Responsibilities

Provides analyses for complex financial, programmatic, data, and resource projects working directly with all levels of managers.

  • Develops and analyzes reports to learn more about career program utilization by MBA audiences.
  • Designs, Collects and Organizes qualitative feedback from students in workshops and programs to influence real-time adjustments and design of future content.
  • Works with the Sr. Director of Coaching and Programming to strategize program improvement YoY for: attendance, student satisfaction and learning outcomes.
  • Determines cost/benefit analysis of various programs.
  • Prepares advising outcome reports and makes recommendations about future hour allocation for the international peer advisors. Shares international student feedback with industry specialists, adjunct advisors, coaches and relationship managers.

Proposes, leads and/or participates in planning committees and working groups to advance the annual strategic objectives of CMG and Berkeley Haas.

  • Guides curricular planning, resource management, marketing, delivery and evaluations for MBA career curriculum.
  • Keeping an eye on organizational goals, provides feedback to ensure teams, programs and content match the overall strategic direction of the organization.
  • Leads the EW Lux cohort annual program planning. Partners with EW career leaders to plan industry content & events for their membership and to support communications as appropriate.
  • Leads the annual planning for the international student programs working with coaches, relationship managers and alumni relations to develop comprehensive workshops and events for our international students.
  • Works with Operations Program Managers to oversee the timing and execution alignment of programs across all the MBA programs to minimize conflicts and manage resource deployment.

Manages International Student Career Programs and Content

  • Partners with CMG staff to evaluate current and future international programs and creates a plan that includes primers, meetups and additional workshops dependent on student interests.
  • Ensures all information is clearly communicated to students, advocates and CMG stakeholders.
  • Partners with CMG Events Staff to execute on all international career events.
  • Manages International Students career content library including leading annual content review and organization of content on the CMG Resources page.

Conducts post-implementation analysis to determine the need for further enhancements and/or additional career programs based on feedback from students and employers.

  • Incorporates feedback from employer and student surveys into the planning cycle for the following academic cycle.
  • Using collected data (attendance and satisfaction), advises to balance the delivery of group and individual programs to create a more bespoke student experience.
  • Using influence and data, guide the development of programming to enhance the development of student career learning and leadership communities.

Coordinates efforts with a variety of external and internal contacts; researches organizational structures, policies and procedures and summarizes best practices in coaching, career programming and resources for MBA students.

Performs ad hoc, analytical studies on a wide variety of programs and issues which are complex in nature, including coaching loads, program attendance, and resource allocation.

Researches and analyzes processes, policies and student outcomes in order to develop and/or implement changes and to provide recommendations regarding student career education to CMG and school leadership. Researches and drafts complex proposals, reports, executive summaries, and presentations.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.
  • Experience working with diverse and international populations, understanding their cultural needs and challenges.
  • Experience working with learning content creators and subject matter experts - organizing and advising on the execution and delivery of workshops and programs
  • Demonstrated experience leading a project from concept to execution on multi-stage programs spanning multiple months
  • Experience working in graduate degree programs collaborating across multiple offices such as admissions, academics and student experience.
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully manage multiple projects/programs concurrently with overlapping start, in-progress and end dates.
  • Quantitative and qualitative assessment of student needs, program experience and learning goals - such as discovery interviews; constructing, delivering and analyzing qualitative surveys; and primary benchmarking research
  • Client/Student/customer facing experience successfully triaging questions, managing feedback and facilitating difficult conversations.
  • Capable of developing and delivering a pre-, in-progress and post- communications strategy for workshops and programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a desire to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to establish and maintain positive & professional working relationships with colleagues, students and team members.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • User and Learning Experience design (service design) of workshops and programs designed for learning or behavior change.
  • Master's degree in related field.

Salary & Benefits

This is a 100% time (40-hrs a week), monthly paid, exempt career position.

Under California law, the University of California, Berkeley is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $80,050.00 to $95,000.00.
