Job Description

What You'll Do

The Financial & Operational Analytics Manager is responsible for engaging employees at children's hospitals who utilize CHA's financial and operational comparative data solutions to identify opportunities for improvement in operations and outcomes.



  • Present updates for primary users through regular interactions. Curate content for routine written communications.
  • Implement key action items based on regular review of user engagement data. Escalate concerns with less engaged members for targeted engagement, as necessary.
  • Manage the administration of surveys to participants.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to enhance comparative data and produce new content.
  • Complete comparative data product life cycle needs assessment and makes recommendations to improve the value of using financial & operational data solutions.
  • Partner with CHA's data operations team to remediate data quality or measure calculation concerns.
  • Recommend and organize content and evaluate potential presenters for meetings and conferences that highlight the value of CHA data product participation.
  • Deliver custom virtual data product training for new participants.

Experience and Skills

What You'll Bring to CHA



  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care, technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years' experience in the financial and/or operational side of health care.
  • Experience using clinical comparative databases.
  • Requires a solid working knowledge of the health care industry.
  • Financial and/or operational quantitative or improvement analysis experience.
  • Excellent facilitation skills to lead internal and external teams.
  • Advances skills in information gathering, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of performance improvement concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and facilitate presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
