Logistics Engineer III

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Five years of experience providing lifecycle logistical support for C4ISR systems to the Department of Defense in at least five of the following ten areas. Experience may be concurrent.
  • Acquisition Planning
  • Reliability Programs such as Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies
  • Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
  • Sparing Analysis
  • Inventory control and tracking
  • Shipping and receiving of classified material and/or hand-transporting classified material (Courier Card)
  • Software license management support
  • Warranty Tracking
  • Provisioning to include provisioning conferences, provisioning parts list or engineering data for provisioning


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Seven years' experience in 6 of the ten referenced logistical areas
  • Experience coordinating fielding requirements with Fleet Marine Force (FMF) representatives
  • Shipment of equipment OCONUS using military air or sealift

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides programmatic logistics services in support of USMC C4ISR such as development of various lifecycle logistics plans and estimates, reliability analysis and reporting, obsolescence research and reporting, and acquisition planning
  • Provides fielding support that includes development of fielding plans and schedules, briefings, and conferences
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that logistical considerations are included during engineering efforts
  • Conducts inventory of government assets, ship and receive classified materials, and perform classified courier duties
