Job Description The position is available beginning in January 2023. The successful candidate will work on federal funded research projects to conduct techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment of novel processes to valorize agricultural and food wastes and conduct bench experiments to convert food processing byproducts into value-added food ingredients, animal feed, and biochemicals. The successful candidate will also assist in writing grants to seek internal and external funding and mentoring graduate students. Required Qualifications - Ph.D. in agricultural engineering, biosystems engineering, environmental engineering, food science, or other related disciplines awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of the appointment with a minimum of one year of eligibility remaining.
