Job Description

**Sign-On or Relocation Bonus Available**

ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Avionics Software Engineer skilled in software development for embedded avionic engine and flight control systems. The position will focus on the development and test of avionic C code within environments such as Visual Studio and gcc. The project requires minor Windows Based tool development and LINUX based embedded software development. Requirements are tracked in excel and ultimately DOORS system. Software code and test is configuration managed in Razor or Synergy. The position will include a good mix of requirements review, software development, simulation testing, and system level testing in avionic lab environment.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum 2 years' related experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Software experience with command line C code development
• Experience with Windows based tools such as Visual Studio or similar environments
• Experience with LINUX C code development and compiler operation
• Strong Excel experience
• Experience with formal requirements and developing software test cases and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
• Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments

Qualifications Desired

• Experience with Lab environment and HW/SW debug with embedded control systems
• Experience with Configuration systems such as RAZOR, Synergy, and GITHUB
• Experience with Requirements Tools such as DOORS
• Experience with Embedded processor tools such as VxWorks and Greenhills
