Telecom Network Architect

Key Role:

Supports the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, or full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with security tools, including Cisco StealthWatch
• Experience with network microsegmenation
• Ability to develop network flow diagrams for servers, software, and services
• TS/SCI clearance
• Associate Degree or 1+ years in Cisco Network Engineering
• CCNA Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco ACI or software defined networks
• Ability to develop a Dataflow Mapping plan and SOP that discusses the purpose, objects, process, frequency, and how the ports, protocols, and associated traffic for each system and application will be documented
• Possession of strong oral, written, and documentation skills
• Possession of strong and detailed communication between engineers, admins, and leads
