Data Visualization Specialist

Key Role:

Assist a national security client's GEOINT Professional Certification Program for analyzing and interpreting a wide range of data to help understand and improve the customer's experience. Inform the client's strategy and decisions in partnership with teams examining website design, customer interactions, featured content, and future GEOINT products and services. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust, easily accessible, user friendly metrics and reporting system on multiple domains, using the data collected through GPC Assessments. Use appropriate visualization tools, including Tableau that are intuitive and accessible to the user, leadership, and internal and external stakeholders on any domain. Identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, and capability business cases. Represent GPC on technical teams or consortiums and provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization
  • Experience with MS Office and data mining and developing, manipulating, and maintaining databases
  • Experience with using COTS statistical software, including SPSS, SAS, or MATLAB, COTS desktop software, including MS Office and Access, and the Windows operating environment
  • Experience with Tableau and other software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization
  • Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working on certification programs and policy development
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
