Responsibilities

Draper's Special Programs Rapid Response Business office delivers first-of-a-kind technical solutions addressing the Nation's most difficult security challenges. We are expanding our capabilities in this area and are looking for new hires that will support a large multi-functional team as part of a long-standing contract with history of immense success.

We are seeking integration and test engineers who excel in fast-paced, dynamic work environments to deliver advanced technical solutions for USG customers. Candidates will be expected to work in a classified environment with the current team in our Cambridge facility five days a week. Candidates working in this space can expect to work hands on in the following areas:

    Die level electronics probing and testing
  • Microelectronic component testing
  • Microelectronics assembly testing
  • Extensive use of test equipment and requisite skill and knowledge development
  • Test station maintenance and development
  • Failure analysis


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Applied Physics with 3-4 years of relevant work experience or MS degree in any of the above fields
  • Candidate must hold an active DoD SECRET clearance
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies
  • Familiarity with interfacing to electronics via RS232/422/485 serial comms.
  • Familiarity with reading cable diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate with an active DoD TOP SECRET clearance preferred
  • Experience in test automation and scripting
  • Experience in microelectronics testing
  • Experience with Matlab and/or Python
  • Experience with test plan development
  • Experience with inertial sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes
