Application Window Open date: December 1, 2022 Most recent review date: Monday, Jul 31, 2023 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Nov 30, 2023 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, San Diego, Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our newly funded NIH-NIAAA project. Our work focuses on the study of the exciting role of intestinal homeostasis including the intestinal epithelium, microbiome and immune system interactions and its influence in liver disease. The proposed study will characterize this gut-liver axis in preclinical models of liver disease and in patients with liver disease using cutting edge microbiomics and state-of-the-art technology. Qualifications Basic qualifications

Requirements of this position include PhD degree in biology, pharmacy, immunology, biochemistry, or any biomedical sciences. We encourage applicants with experience in biochemistry, immunology, or biomedicine. Preferred qualifications
Previous mouse handling experience, FACS/flow cytometry, and single cell multiomics is a plus but not essential. Application Requirements Document requirements
