MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Five years' experience in software development including, software development, requirements analysis, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Three years' experience developing software with high-level languages such as Java, C#, J2EEE
  • At least three years' experience in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of service-based framework infrastructure and services
  • Background in developing batch and streaming analytics, data processing pipelines
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Knowledge and experience with full software development lifecycle
  • Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking skills with impeccable attention to detail


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience with OOP, SOA, design pattern, multi-threading
  • Experience with streaming technologies such as Apache Heron
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Jira, GIT, Gradle and Maven
  • Understanding of geo spatial data files, formats, and web mapping standards and conventions
  • Capability to be a self-starter and self-motivated and responsive to direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel, interface directly with the customer, work independently or as part of a team, and provide written status to management

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate will provide support to Advanced Research, Technical Analysis, and Integration Team, formulating intelligence analytics and working with unique intelligence sources. Candidate must have a strong background in scripting languages, system architecture, and familiarity with Signals Intelligence is highly desirable. Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies in computer scripting and architecture technologies
  • Not a remote position, must be physically onsite at Government Location in San Antonio
  • Coordinate with other national agency entities on analytic development
  • Analytic testing, especially as it pertains to complex data streams
